Texas State receives McNair Scholars Program grant to benefit TRIO students
SAN MARCOS, Texas, Aug. 25 (TNSfund) -- Texas State University issued the following news release:
Texas State University has been selected to receive grant funding under the Ronald E. McNair Post Baccalaureate Achievement program through the U.S. Department of Education (DoE).
The university will receive a total of $1.3 million over the next five years to serve 25 McNair Scholars annually.

Texas State sets record for freshman enrollment for fall 2022
SAN MARCOS, Texas, Aug. 24 -- Texas State University issued the following news release:
Texas State University has announced a record-setting freshman enrollment of more than 7,590 for the 2022 fall semester, a 14% increase over the previous year.
