SAN MARCOS, Texas, Aug. 24 -- Texas State University issued the following news release:
Texas State University has announced a record-setting freshman enrollment of more than 7,590 for the 2022 fall semester, a 14% increase over the previous year.
The largest freshman class in Texas State history is more than 900 students greater than the 6,625-member freshman class of 2021--the previous record holder for class size.
