WASHINGTON, June 4 (TNSFR) -- Sonoma State University has completed an inventory of 35 associated funerary objects and determined they are culturally affiliated with three Native American tribes, according to a notice published in the Federal Register under the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act.
The university said the objects were recovered from four archaeological sites in Lake County, California, including locations near Chalk Mountain, Spring Valley and Benmore Canyon.
