NRC Renews Point Beach Operating Licenses
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has renewed for a second time the operating licenses of Point Beach, Units 1 and 2, for an additional 20 years.
Point Beach's two pressurized-water reactors are located in Two Rivers, Wisconsin. Their renewed facility operating licenses will now expire in October 2050 for Unit 1 and March 2053 for Unit 2.
