WASHINGTON, Sept. 30 -- The Nuclear Regulatory Commission issued the following news release:

NRC Renews Point Beach Operating Licenses

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has renewed for a second time the operating licenses of Point Beach, Units 1 and 2, for an additional 20 years.

Point Beach's two pressurized-water reactors are located in Two Rivers, Wisconsin. Their renewed facility operating licenses will now expire in October 205 . . .
