EPA Solicits Public Input on Pesticide Regulations & Residues
WASHINGTON, Sept. 27 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency today announced it has accepted filings for six applications requesting changes to how pesticide residues are regulated on food crops. The agency is asking the public to provide feedback on these petitions, which concern the establishment or adjustment of chemical residue tolerances on a wide range of commodities. ITA Extends Countervailing Duty Investigation on Brazilian Pulp
WASHINGTON, Sept. 27 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce has extended the deadline for the preliminary countervailing duty determination regarding imports of high purity dissolving pulp from Brazil. The deadline has been extended to Jan. 12, 2026, allowing more time to review information submitted by the Government of Brazil and Bracell Bahia Specialty Celulose SA, Camacari, Brazil, the mandatory respondent. NOAA Adjusts Commercial Bluefish Quota for New Jersey, North Carolina
WASHINGTON, Sept. 27 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration National Marine Fisheries Service announced a quota adjustment for commercial bluefish. The state of New Jersey is transferring a portion of its 2025 commercial bluefish quota to the state of North Carolina.
