WASHINGTON, Sept. 27 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration National Marine Fisheries Service announced a quota adjustment for commercial bluefish. The state of New Jersey is transferring a portion of its 2025 commercial bluefish quota to the state of North Carolina. This action complies with the Atlantic Bluefish Fishery Management Plan's quota transfer provisions, providing a revised commercial bluefish quota for both states.
