WASHINGTON, Aug. 30 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of the Interior Fish and Wildlife Service has proposed adding the southern hognose snake, a small burrowing reptile native to southeastern coastal plains and sandhills, to the list of threatened species under the Endangered Species Act.
