FAA Authorizes Permanent Closure of Lake Texoma Airport
WASHINGTON, Aug. 28 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration has given its approval for the permanent release and closure of Lake Texoma State Park Airport in Kingston, Oklahoma. This action follows a request submitted to the FAA by the Oklahoma Department of Tourism and the Oklahoma Department of Aerospace and Aeronautics.
