Ky. PSC: Kentucky Utilities Approved to Bid on Cumberland Electric Franchise
WASHINGTON, June 17 -- Kentucky Utilities Co., Lexington, has received a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity from the Kentucky Public Service Commission, authorizing it to bid on an electric transmission and distribution franchise in Cumberland, Kentucky. The Commission's order, issued on June 6, 2025, follows KU's application filed earlier that month (Case No. 2025-00185).
