WASHINGTON, June 6 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of the Interior National Park Service has issued a notice of intended repatriation, announcing the intention of the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation, Division of Archaeology to return significant cultural items.
This action is undertaken in accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act. The Tennessee archaeological division is responsible for these determinations.
