WASHINGTON, June 6 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of the Interior National Park Service has announced a notice of intended repatriation concerning a cultural item in the possession of the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation, Division of Archaeology.

This notice is issued in accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act, outlining the intent of the Tennessee archaeological division to return a significant un-associated funerary object.
