Cincinnati Museum Center Completes Inventory of Human Remains and Associated Funerary Objects to Absentee Shawnee Tribe of Indians of Oklahoma
WASHINGTON, May 14 (TNSFR) --The Cincinnati Museum Center, Ohio has completed an inventory of human remains and associated funerary objects, determining a cultural affiliation with several Native American tribes. These remains, representing at least 107 individuals, along with 1,148 lots of associated funerary objects, have been identified as originating from the Glenn/Oberting Mounds in Dearborn County, Indiana, and the Hawkins Ridge Mounds and Newtown Firehouse site in Hamilton County, Ohio.   more
