DOT&PF Seeks Public Review of Winter Ferry Schedule
JUNEAU, Alaska, June 19 -- The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities issued the following news release:
The Alaska Marine Highway System (AMHS) Winter 2024-2025 Schedule is now open for public comment. The Winter Schedule covers sailings from October 1, 2024, through April 30, 2025. The schedule and supporting documentation can be found here: dot.alaska.gov/amhs/doc/winter_considerations_2024-2025.pdf.
The public is encouraged to provide written comments by June 25, 2024. C

State Asks Alaska Supreme Court to Reverse Ruling on Correspondence Study Program
ANCHORAGE, Alaska, June 18 -- Alaska Attorney General Treg R. Taylor issued the following news release on June 17, 2024:
Today, the State of Alaska filed its Reply Brief in its appeal of the Alaska Superior Court's ruling in April, which found the correspondence study program unconstitutional and sent parents of students in such programs scrambling for answers.
