WASHINGTON, April 3 -- Rep. Buddy Carter, R-Georgia, issued the following news release:
NAHUNTA - Rep. Earl L. "Buddy" Carter (R-GA) procured $5.4 million in federal funding for the City of Nahunta to construct a new wastewater plant as part of the Fiscal Year 2024 Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act.
The City of Nahunta's current wastewater treatment system was only designed to be used through the year 2000.
