NRC Makes Available Summer's Subsequent License Renewal Application
WASHINGTON, Sept. 7 -- The Nuclear Regulatory Commission issued the following news release:
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has received a subsequent license renewal application from Dominion Energy South Carolina, Inc., which requests an additional 20 years of operation for the Virgil C. The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has selected David Rivard as the new senior resident inspector at the Catawba nuclear power plant. The plant, operated by Duke Energy, is located in York, South Carolina.
