WASHINGTON, Jan. 27 -- The U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics issued the following document from the Economics Daily:
From December 2021 to December 2022, nonfarm payroll employment increased in 42 states and was essentially unchanged in 8 states and the District of Columbia. The largest percentage increase occurred in Texas (+5.0 percent), followed by Florida (+4.8 percent) and Oregon (+4.2 percent).
