WIPO: Inventors in Japan Develop Recording Medium

GENEVA, Oct. 29 - Masato Nakaya, Tomonobu Nakayama and Masakazu Aono, all from Ibaraki, Japan, have developed a recording medium.
According to an abstract posted by the World Intellectual Property Organization, the invention aims to disclose a "recording medium which utilizes such a property of a fullerene molecule that repeats polymerization and depolymerization when applied with a given energy, and which enables extremely high-density recording."
