WASHINGTON, Sept. 18 -- The Consumer Product Safety Commission issued the following recall alert:

Name of Product: Kuhl(R) Q and Kuhl(R) S Window Air Conditioners

Hazard: The control board inside the motor of the recalled air conditioners can fail, posing a risk of serious injury or death from fire and burn hazards.

Remedy: Refund/Replace

Recall Date: September 17, 2026
