"Artificial leaf" generates clean hydrogen from contaminated seawater

Inspired by leaves, scientists from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore have designed a device that captures sunlight to produce clean hydrogen from seawater and simultaneously degrade hydrazine, a highly toxic contaminant from industrial wastewater.
