Sometimes improving wild turkey habitat calls for prescribed fire. Sometimes it takes a mower, herbicide or a little extra horsepower. At Gabbard Branch Wildlife Management Area in Kentucky, it took a Bobcat equipped with a 60-inch mulching head.
