WASHINGTON, Aug. 29 -- The Federal Communications Commission Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau together with the Office of Engineering and Technology issued an order on Aug. 28, 2026, denying three requests to extend the comment period for a proceeding titled "Prohibiting the Importation and Marketing of Certain Foreign-Produced Military-Grade UAS and UAS Critical Components" (PS Docket No. 26-189).
