WASHINGTON, Aug. 22 -- The U.S. Department of the Treasury Internal Revenue Service issued the following news on Aug. 21, 2026:

Interest rates remain the same for the fourth quarter of 2026
The Internal Revenue Service today announced that interest rates will remain the same for the calendar quarter beginning Oct. 1, 2026.
