Ginnie Mae Mortgage-Backed Securities Portfolio Reached $2.99 Trillion in July
Ginnie Mae's mortgage-backed securities (MBS) portfolio outstanding grew to $2.99 trillion as of July 2026. In addition, Ginnie Mae issued $53.1 billion in total MBS, resulting in net portfolio growth of $20.5 billion. Ginnie Mae facilitated the pooling and securitization of 408,854 first-time homebuy . . .
