MACON, Ga. -A special community screening of the documentary "Georgia Rising: A Rural Health Story" will open the Macon Film Festival at the Douglass Theatre Aug. 19 at 7 p.m. The film highlights the challenges, innovation and resilience shaping rural healthcare in Georgia.
