WASHINGTON, Aug. 5 (TNSLrpt) -- The American Enterprise Institute issued 'SB 840: THE FIRST NINE MONTHS', with Edward Pinto as a coauthor and Brennan Griffin of Texas Appleseed and Brita Wallace of Texans for Reasonable Solutions, on July 20, 2026. The report says the Texas law, which lets qualifying commercial and retail parcels be used by right for multifamily and mixed-use housing, has already helped produce or support 8,488 units across 19 large cities.
