WASHINGTON, July 18 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration adopted an airworthiness directive requiring replacement of defective fuel tube hoses on affected General Electric GEnx engines nationwide.
FAA issued a final rule requiring operators of affected General Electric GEnx aircraft engines to remove defective fuel tube hoses linked to fuel leaks that could lead to uncontrolled engine fires and damage to aircraft.
