WASHINGTON, July 18 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration adopted an airworthiness directive addressing nose landing gear actuator defects affecting Diamond DA 42 series airplanes immediately.
The rule takes effect July 20, 2026, and applies to all Diamond Aircraft Industries GmbH Model DA 42, DA 42 NG and DA 42 M-NG airplanes. Comments are due on Aug. 31, 2026.
