Producer prices up 6.0 percent, energy up 22.7 percent, over the year ended April 2026

The Producer Price Index for final demand rose 6.0 percent (not seasonally adjusted) over the 12 months ending April 2026. This was the largest 12-month increase since the index increased 6.4 percent in December . . .
