WASHINGTON, May 1 -- The Consumer Product Safety Commission issued the following recall alert on April 30, 2026:

Name of Product: Build-A-Bear Workshop Heartwarming Hugs Bears

Hazard: The zipper slider on the side pouch can detach, posing a risk of serious injury or death from choking hazard to children.

Remedy: Refund/Replace

Recall Date: April 30, 2026
