ARM Report Outlines Aerosol Cloud-droplet Metric

WASHINGTON, April 22 (TNSLrpt) -- The U.S. Department of Energy Atmospheric Radiation Measurement user facility issued 'Cloud Condensation Nuclei Hygroscopicity Value-Added Product Report' by G. Kulkarni, M. S. Levin, and J. E. Shilling, with report number DOE/SC-ARM-TR-272, in November 2023. The report explains how the ARM facility's value-added products calculate the aerosol hygroscopicity parameter, or kappa, to describe how particles activate into cloud droplets.
