California State University-Chico to Repatriate Funerary Objects to Karuk Tribe

WASHINGTON, March 28 (TNSFR) -- California State University Chico campus is preparing to return funerary objects to the Karuk Tribe after completing an inventory that found a cultural connection between the items and the tribe. The materials include a collection of modified obsidian pieces and a group of shells recovered from Siskiyou County, California.
