National Cattlemen's Beef Association Refutes Online Rumors of Unknown Cattle Disease at Texas Panhandle Feedlot

WASHINGTON, March 18 -- Colin Woodall, CEO of the National Cattlemen's Beef Association, issued a statement dismissing online claims alleging an unknown animal disease is circulating at a feedlot in the Texas, calling the rumors false.

Woodall said animal health officials from the USDA, state officials in Texas and leaders at the Texas Cattle Feeders Association have all confirmed no such disease is present.
