Accessible Pregnancy Plan Empowers Parents With Disabilities Through Brandeis University

WASHINGTON, March 18 -- The National Center for Disability and Pregnancy Research at Brandeis University has launched the Accessible Pregnancy Action Plan to support expectant parents with disabilities. Developed in partnership with the University of Cincinnati Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities, this peer-led tool ensures that individuals with disabilities have their priorities communicated within the U.S. healthcare system.
