WASHINGTON, March 7 (TNSLrpt) -- The U.S. Department of Labor Bureau of Labor Statistics issued the following document on March 6, 2026, from Economics Daily:

Fatal work injuries down in 2024

There were 5,070 fatal work injuries recorded in the United States in 2024, down 4.0 percent from 5,283 in 2023. A worker died every 104 minutes from a work-related injury in 2024 compared with 99 minutes in 2023.
