WASHINGTON, Feb. 24 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture Agricultural Marketing Service announced a final rule to increase financial assistance for domestic users of upland cotton. The payment rate for the Economic Adjustment Assistance for Textile Mills (EAATM) program will rise from three cents per pound to five cents per pound.
