ITA Postpones Preliminary Determination in Canadian Fresh Mushroom Investigation

WASHINGTON, Feb. 18 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce International Trade Administration announced Feb. 18, 2026, that it is extending the deadline for its preliminary determination in the countervailing duty investigation regarding fresh mushrooms from Canada.

The investigation into whether Canadian mushroom imports receive unfair subsidies began Jan. 2, 2026. Under the Tariff Act of 1930, the agency is typically required to issue a preliminary determination within 65 days . . .
