WASHINGTON, Feb. 13 -- The Federal Maritime Commission has issued a ruling where Chief Administrative Law Judge Erin M. Wirth partially granted a motion to compel discovery in a dispute between a former major retailer and a global shipping entity. The ruling, issued on Feb. 12, 2026, requires BAL Container Line Co., Limited to produce corporate witnesses for depositions regarding specific policies that impacted cargo shipments.
