WASHINGTON, Jan. 30 -- The Consumer Product Safety Commission issued the following recall alert on Jan. 29, 2026:

Name of Product: Rear wheel bolts installed on model year 2026 Trek FX+ 1 and Electra Townie Go! electric bicycles
Hazard: The rear wheel bolts can break when torqued, causing the wheel to separate from the bicycle, posing a fall hazard.
