EPA Begins Removing Hazardous Materials from Former EMCO Chemical Facility in Detroit

CHICAGO (January 29, 2026) - This week, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency began removing hazardous materials from the former EMCO Chemical Inc. facility at 4470 Lawton Street in Detroit, Michigan. The cleanup is expected to be complete by summer.
