WASHINGTON, Dec. 10 -- Consumers Energy, Jackson, Michigan, announced that it is highlighting various energy bill assistance programs and safeguards available to help Michigan seniors stay safe and warm during the cold winter months. These resources include shut-off protection and a recurring $4 monthly electric bill credit available to most households led by individuals aged 65 or older.
