MIAMI, Florida, Nov. 22 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida posted the following news release:

Miami Man Sentenced to More Than 19 Years in Prison for $40 Million Investment Ponzi Scheme

A Miami man was sentenced on Oct. 2 to 230 months in federal prison and ordered to pay more than $16 million in restitution for operating an investment Ponzi scheme disguised as a merchant cash advance (MCA) business.
