ATLANTA, Georgia, Nov. 21 -- Gov. Brian P. Kemp, R-Georgia, issued the following news release on Nov. 20, 2025:

Gov. Kemp: Virginia Transformer to Create 400 Jobs in Effingham Expansion

Governor Brian P. Kemp today announced that Virginia Transformer Corp. will invest $40 million to expand its existing manufacturing facility near Rincon, creating over 400 new jobs in Effingham County. The Rincon facility operates as Georgia Transformer.
