WASHINGTON, July 30 (TNSFR) -- The Sandersville Railroad Company is once again asking the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) to waive bridge safety regulations for a piece of equipment it argues is a bridge in name only: a weigh-in-motion track scale. This is the Georgia-based railroad's second attempt to gain this exemption after its initial request was denied in 2021.
