NEW YORK, Aug. 3 -- The New York Immigration Coalition issued the following news release on Aug. 1, 2024:
Today, Manhattan Supreme Court Judge Lyle Frank struck down a lawsuit that would have forced the Adams administration and the Department of Homeless Services to implement the CityFHEPS housing voucher package that was passed in May 2023 by the City Council. The legislation was passed to expand eligibility for CityFHEPS housing vouchers for low-income New Yorkers facing eviction . . .
