DENVER, Colorado, Dec. 2 -- Gov. Jared Polis, D-Colorado, issued the following news release on Dec. 1, 2023:

Today, Governor Polis, the current vice chair of the National Governors Association (NGA), Governor Mike Dunleavy, Governor Gavin Newsom, Governor Josh Green, Governor Kathy Hochul, and Governor Mike DeWine sent a letter to Secretary Kendall urging for the creation of the space national guard.
