WASHINGTON, Sept. 30 -- The Commodity Futures Trading Commission issued the following statement on Sept. 29, 2023, by Commissioner Christy Goldsmith Romero on holding interactive brokers accountable for widespread use of Whatsapp and personal text messaging to evade regulatory oversight:
