BOSTON, Massachusetts, June 1 -- The Environmental Protection Agency issued the following news release:
The U.S. Environmental Protect Agency (EPA) has issued an updated draft permit under the Clean Water Act for the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA) Deer Island Treatment Plant and several effluent outfalls associated with the system.
The proposed permit would significantly update protections for Boston Harbor and Massachusetts Bay by bringing water quality . . .
