WASHINGTON, March 25 -- The U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, Matthew M. Graves, issued the following news release on March 24, 2023:
Darnell Sterling, 57, of Washington, D.C., was sentenced today to 27 years in prison on charges stemming from the murder of his girlfriend, whose body has never been recovered, announced U.S. Attorney Matthew M. Graves and Robert J. Contee III, Chief of the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).
