NEWARK, New Jersey, Jan. 31 -- Sen. Cory Booker, D-New Jersey, issued the following statement on Jan. 29, 2023:

"I'm deeply disturbed by the attack on Temple Ner Tamid and our Jewish community early Sunday morning. Thankfully, no one is reported to be injured, and I'm grateful for law enforcement for securing the synagogue and its continuing investigation.
"Hate has no place in our state.
"We cannot ignore the rise in antis . . .
